Dr Anna Stróż-Pawłowska says goodbye to the Museum in Markowa

Today, Anna Stróż-Pawłowska, PhD, director of the Museum of Poles Saving Jews ended her three-year term and over four years of work for this institution.

She took the position when the Museum became independent – she became its first director, she was creating the structures of the Museum and the strategy of its activity in the first years of its existence. She is the author of numerous initiatives dedicated to the Ulma Family and other Polish Righteous.

Over the past three years, the Museum in Markowa, thanks to the efforts of a small but very involved team and thanks to the support of many people and institutions, has become a recognizable place not only in the region and the country, but also abroad. Museum was cooperating with major industry institutions and attracting crowds of visitors. It is also thanks to his activities that the message about the Polish Righteous is reaching more and more recipients every year.
