Four inhabitants of Grzegorzówka in the district of Rzeszów – Henryk Gajda, Grzegorz Wojturski, Sylwester Nycz and Władysław Jasiński – supplied food for the Jews hiding in a bunker located in the forest near Grzegorzówka. On Nov. 24, 1942, before noon, three German military policemen arrived from Łańcut to the house of Henryk Gajda. Then there they brought two other inhabitants of the village, Grzegorz Wojturski and Sylwester Nycz. In the Gajda’s house the Germans tortured the arrested Poles, they brought them near the forest and there they shot sequentially: at first Wojturski, then Nycz and at the end Gajda. After the execution the military policemen went to the house of Władysław Jasiński killing him in the backyard.
