‘The Ulma Family Museum Human Rights Symposium’ is a series of meetings organized for the first time by the Museum of Poles Saving Jews on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day. On this year, the museum joins the Solidarity Culture Days, organized for the eleventh time.
The symposium is a space for the Museum’s program debate focused on educational activities and promotion of the Polish heritage of human rights culture. By referring to the sacrifice of life and the act of solidarity of the Ulma Family from the Markowa, Museum of Poles Saving Jews wants to draw attention to the foundation of human rights, which is the ethics of solidarity, seen from the perspective of philosophy and classical culture.
