On November 12th, thanks to the efforts of family and friends, incl. Sztetl Duka and Jacek Koszczan, Museum of Poles Saving Jews participated in this remarkable birthday meeting. It was an opportunity to express our gratitude and respect to Mrs. Szubrycht for her devotion.

Anna Szubrycht, née Welcer, together with her parents Franciszka and Franciszek Welcer from Cergowa, recued two brothers of Jewish descent, Jehoszua and Josef Guzik. The Welcer family not only hid them, but also looked after them. Thanks to this help, the brothers managed to survive the war. On October 21, 2014, Franciszka and Franciszek Welcer and their daughter Anna Szubrycht received the title of Righteous Among the Nations.
