The Ulma Family Museum of Poles Saving Jews in World War II has been nominated for the BohaterONy Award 2019 Warsaw Insurgents in the category “Institution”.
The purpose of the BohaterONy 2019 Warsaw Insurgents Award is to award the initiators of activities which in a special way promote the knowledge about the history of Poland from 1918–1989 and historical and patriotic education in 2018.
We are extremely honored with the nomination, which not only proves that our activities bring effects, but are also an impulse for further initiatives. This is the greatest distinction, because we have the pleasure to create this extraordinary place only from 2016.
